Our story:
Prospect Management Group (PMG) is a holding company created to oversee a few businesses that were formed in 2019. Despite PMG’s young age, the principles it was built upon date back to our founder’s first steps into the startup world with his business, Tixers, that he successfully built from scratch and sold several years ago.
PMG was originally designed to provide infrastructure and investment into its first business, an Amazon Delivery Service Provider business. Since then, other businesses and investments have been spun out underneath the company. Traditionally PMG’s focus has been in the logistics space but more recently that focus has branched into other areas such as staffing, recruiting, and consulting. Overall though, as we grow we plan to be very industry-agnostic focusing entirely on the value, timing, and people surrounding the opportunity.
Our model:
With a desire to be a part of the growth and building of as many businesses as possible, we audaciously aim to create a structure similar to Berkshire Hathaway or Proctor and Gamble. PMG’s goal is to connect a suite of businesses strategically positioned in areas of business that all support each other in some shape or form.
Many of the principles that PMG instills can be traced back to the founder’s time working at P&G, as well as his experience in the startup world and his teachings as a professor at the University of Cincinnati. We have found that it is good to be able to draw inspiration from many sources in how we build our principles, but we are still decidedly unique in how we get things done.
